Organisers have given an assurance that this weekend’s Angus Show is going ahead.
The Angus Show is an agricultural show held in the Brechin Castle Showground but “extreme unexpected weather conditions” put it at risk.
All sheep, cattle, native and light legged horses sections have had to be cancelled as a result of the predicted deluge.
As a result the entry fee has been reduced to £5 for adults with kids under 12 going free.
The show runs on Friday and Saturday.
