Thousands of visitors from around the world ensured the 2019 Strathmore Highland Games in the grounds of Glamis Castle was one to remember.
Despite earlier fears the event may fall victim to the elements, the show went ahead as scheduled yesterday in what has been described as a “phenomenal success”.
The crowds began arriving shortly after 9am to be treated to a spectacular event of heavies and Highland dancers, races and rousing piping competitions.
