An Angus man admitted threatening his neighbours when he appeared from custody at Forfar Sheriff Court on Tuesday.
Gordon Wallace, 41, of Albert Street, Arbroath, admitted behaving in a threatening or abusive manner by shouting, swearing and threatening his neighbours on August 20 last year.
He also admitted failing to appear at court for an earlier hearing at Forfar on July 3.
Defence agent solicitor Billy Rennie told the court his client had handed himself in.
Sheriff Keith O’Mahoney deferred sentence until August 15 for the preparation of a criminal justice and social work report and a restriction of liberty assessment.
Wallace was released on bail.
