The Arbroath man, a keen motorcyclist, was found dead at the beauty spot near Kirriemuir on the morning of June 7 2018.
On Friday, May 3 a jury of eight women and seven men found Steven Dickie and Callum Davidson, both 24, guilty of murdering the 27-year-old Arbroath oil worker. Co-accused Tasmin Glass, 20, was found guilty of culpable homicide.
A huge crowd saw the convoy depart from Arbroath waterfront for the event in Mr Donaldson’s memory.
Video of the ride-out, as it heads towards Kinnordy Loch, has been shared on a dedicated Facebook page.
