Police in an Angus town are investigating what appears to be a window-smashing spree which took place across a matter of days.
The force says there is a possibility that the vandalism of two charity buildings and two cars in Arbroath are linked.
Thirteen windows were smashed at the Angus Carers Centre on Grant Road at some point between Friday, August 9 at 5pm and Monday, August 12 at 9am.
At some point within the same time frame a window was broken at Tayside Council On Alcohol’s base at the Wishart Centre on Catherine Street.
Between 8pm on Saturday, August 10 and midnight on Sunday, August 11 a black Vauxhall Mokka had one of its windows smashed in while parked on James Street.
On the same day, between 8pm and 9.20pm, a silver Renault Scenic was targeted.
A Tayside Police Division statement reads: “At this time, we believe that the two car vandalisms are linked to each other, and the two incidents at the buildings with the broken windows are linked to each other.
“The possibility exists that all are linked, and we are considering this as a line of enquiry.
“If you have any information that could assist our investigations, please call 101 or speak with any police officer.
“Also, information can be given anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
