A Forfar man has been put on the sex offenders register after threatening to disclose an intimate photograph of a woman. Andrew Woods, 33, of Eastbank, was found guilty of the offence, committed between September 2017 and February 2018, following a trial. He was also found guilty of causing the same woman to look at an indecent image on February 1 last year by sending it via Facebook Messenger. The court heard the woman had sent a photograph to Woods, but the image in the second charge was unsolicited. Sheriff Gregor Murray sentenced Woods to 100 hours of unpaid work and placed him on the sex offenders register for six months.
