A teenager reported missing in Arbroath on Thursday evening has returned home.
A full-scale search was launched for the 15-year-old girl after she was reported missing at around 4.30pm..
Arbroath lifeboat was scrambled and coastguard teams are scoured the coast for the youngster.
Police said parks in Arbroath were also being searched as part of the operation.
They later confirmed she had returned home of her own accord.
