The 38th Kirriemuir Festival of Music and Song, encompassing ceilidhs, concerts, competitions, sing-arounds, street entertainment and impromptu sessions, is taking place this weekend.
Venues throughout the town, including shops, pubs, halls and the bowling club, hosted events from fiddling and diddling to story-telling and singing.
Among those who provided excellent entertainment were Skirdechal in the Thrums Hotel and Forfar Instrumental Band, who performed in the town square on Saturday afternoon.
