A teenager has been remanded in custody after admitting having a knife in an Angus youth drop-in centre.
Nathan Madsen, 19, of Liverpool, appeared from custody before Sheriff Gregor Murray at Forfar where he pled guilty to possessing a knife at the Pit Stop in Forfar’s Academy Street in August 27.
A plea of not guilty to breaching the peace at the premises by brandishing a knife was accepted by the Crown.
Forfar Sheriff Court heard Madsen is subject to a community order and suspended sentence in England.
He was remanded until October 17 for a background report to be prepared and Sheriff Murray ordered forfeiture of the knife.
