An 18-year-old teenager has appeared in court charged with raping a woman on an abandoned site of a former primary school in Dundee.
Samier Zerouk, of Baxter Street, is accused of assaulting the female by seizing her hair, pulling her to the ground, climbing on top of her, removing her lower clothing and raping her.
The alleged incident was said to have happened on January 28 in an area of abandoned wasteland off Dunholm Terrace, where Charleston Primary School was formerly located.
Zerouk appeared on petition at Dundee Sheriff Court on Wednesday and made no plea or declaration.
Sheriff Jillian Martin-Brown continued the case for further examination and released Zerouk on bail.
