A robber threatened to stab a woman as she assaulted her and grabbed her handbag.
Sharon Williams, 38, attacked Jacqueline Sawer in Kirkcaldy on August 4 last year. Ms Sawer fell to the ground and Williams kicked and punched her, seized her handbag and stole £45 from it.
Ms Sawer was hurt in the incident in Laurel Crescent.
At Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court Williams, for whom no address was given, was convicted by a jury of assaulting and robbing her – however, she was cleared of brandishing a blade.
Williams earlier admitted stealing meat from the Co-op, in Lauder Road, just before the robbery. Sentence was deferred until March 11 and Williams was remanded in custody.
