A Dundee magazine executive has admitted downloading hundreds of child abuse images of girls as young as nine years old.
Paul Milne, 31, pled guilty to possessing a total of 567 images, including 27 in the most serious bracket, at Dundee Sheriff Court yesterday.
The court heard Milne’s Dundee home in Glenclova Terrace was raided by police in November last year.
Officers seized a laptop and personal computer and found the illegal material.
Depute fiscal Lora Apostolova said the females in the images were aged between eight and 15 years old and were downloaded between February 2018 and November last year.
Milne’s solicitor John Boyle said his client expects to be fired from his position as direct marketing executive at publishers DC Thomson, based in Dundee.
Milne, now of Elmbank Street, Glasgow, pled guilty to both possessing and downloading indecent pictures.
Sheriff Alastair Carmichael deferred sentence until April 20 for reports and placed Milne on the sex offenders register indefinitely.
