A high-ranking employee of a multinational defence company who posted photographs and videos of women he knew on a pornography website will have to wait until August to learn if he is to avoid being jailed, a sheriff ruled.
George Bell, a senior project manager at Glasgow-based BAE Systems, used the pseudonym “Just A Horny Guy” to post the pics.
A court heard that Bell, 61, who held security clearance, had uploaded the content without the knowledge of the women involved.
The uploads included video of one woman performing a sex act, and non-explicit photographs of the other two women, who were all known to each other, together with sexual comments.
There were also sexual photographs labelled with the name of one of the women, but actually showing another female who looked like her.
The victims alerted police after one of them received a message telling her they were on a “well-known” pornographic website.
At Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court last month, Bell, of Saline, Fife, pleaded guilty to voyeurism, breach of the peace, and disclosing photographic material showing another person in an intimate situation.
He was placed on the sex offenders register, warned he could be imprisoned, and released on bail for reports.
Sentence was deferred until yesterday, when solicitor Brian Black, defending, appeared for him in his absence at Falkirk Sheriff Court, where the case had been transferred.
Sheriff Charles Macnair QC continued the case until August 12, for Bell to be sentenced at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court.
