A 24-year-old Dundee man has appeared on drugs supply charges in connection with an alleged five-figure heroin and cocaine haul in the city.
Neil Doyle appeared in private at the city’s sheriff court on Wednesday.
He faces two charges of supplying controlled drugs.
Doyle made no plea was committed for further examination.
He was released on bail, with a further court appearance date yet to be confirmed.
The court appearance is understood to have followed a police operation in Dundee’s Arklay Street on Monday involving the recovery of drugs with a total estimated street value of more than £12,000.
Meanwhile, a teenager arrested during the same operation has been released without charge.
A Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service spokesperson said: “The Procurator Fiscal received a report relating to an 18-year old male and an incident said to have occurred on May 11 2020.
“After careful consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case, including the available admissible evidence, the Procurator Fiscal decided that there should be no proceedings taken at this time.
“The Crown reserves the right to proceed in the future should further evidence become available.”
