A pair have appeared in court accused of assaulting a man in Perth to his permanent disfigurement.
Shaun Wildish, 23, and Chelsea McKinney, 19, appeared at Dundee Sheriff Court on Monday accused of attacking Daniel Cahill on Saturday afternoon.
It is alleged Wildish, of Commercial Street, Perth and McKinney, of Dunsinane Drive, also Perth, lunged towards Mr Cahill and brandished a bladed instrument, before striking him on the leg and wrist, causing him to fall to the ground.
The pair are also accused of repeatedly kicking him on the head to his severe injury and permanent disfigurement.
Wildish was remanded in custody, while co-accused McKinney was released on bail.
The pair made no plea and will appear in court at a later date.
A large number of emergency service personnel attended at the property on Commercial Street in Perth’s Bridgend just before 3pm on Saturday, after receiving reports of a disturbance.
A 30-year-old man was transported from the block of flats to be treated for his injuries at Ninewells Hospital.
