A man has been accused of attempting to murder another man in a Lochee multi over the weekend.
Steven Tosh, 28, appeared on petition at Dundee Sheriff Court on June 22.
Tosh, of Blacklock Crescent, is said to have repeatedly stabbed Bruce Harper with a knife on his body and head to his severe injury and permanent disfigurement, endangering his life, at Elders Court on June 20.
Tosh appeared in private before Sheriff Lindsay Foulis and made no plea. He was remanded in custody and will appear in court again at a future date.
Residents reported seeing a heavy police presence in the area during the evening of June 20.
Officers were seen leaving the block with evidence bags. Two ambulances were also spotted at the scene.
One resident said there had been a commotion near the communal bins outside the block.
He said: “I heard a lot of sirens and had a look out of my window.
“It felt like there were hundreds of police officers here.”
