A woman was repeatedly struck on the head by her daughter as they sat in a car in Inverkeithing.
Laura McArthur, 24, of Pentland Terrace, High Valleyfield, has admitted the assault.
At Dunfermline Sheriff Court, McArthur submitted guilty pleas to two charges.
She admitted that on November 15 at Heriot Street, Inverkeithing, she assaulted Pauline McArthur, her mother, when they were both seated in a vehicle, by repeatedly striking her on the head with her hands.
She admitted that, also in Heriot Street, she shouted, swore, acted aggressively and placed her parents and two children in a state of fear and alarm. Sentence was deferred until August 27.
