A Dunfermline man who has no driving licence was caught behind the wheel twice within a month. Chris McFaulds or Brown, 37, of Headwell Court, appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court for sentencing. The court was told McFaulds has a long history of similar offending. He admitted that on May 12, on Halbeath Road, he drove without being the holder of a valid driving licence and without insurance. He also admitted that on June 12, on Headwell Avenue, he drove a car without insurance and without a licence. Sheriff Alastair Brown pointed out that McFaulds was previously caught driving without a licence in 2004, 2006 and 2019 before these latest offences. The sheriff warned him: “Don’t do it again.” He fined McFaulds £740 and banned him from driving for nine months.
