A man accused of going on a knife rampage less than half a mile from Kirkcaldy’s Victoria Hospital has appeared at the town’s sheriff court.
Constantin Harcota, 33, a prisoner at HMP Low Moss, denied behaving in a threatening or abusive manner at an address in Denend Crescent on March 25, 2020, by repeatedly threatening to cut others with a knife and threatening to commit murder whilst holding a knife.
Harcota pled not guilty to repeatedly striking two men with a knife to their severe injury and permanent disfigurement.
Harcota also stands accused of assaulting a third man by repeatedly punching him on the head on the same date, which he denies.
He was remanded in custody pending another appearance in mid-November.
