A man has been acquitted of stalking a nine-year-old girl.
Brian Bruce, 56, was alleged to have loitered “outside her school in his van”, repeatedly followed her over the course of a week and “engaged in a course of conduct that caused fear or alarm” to the girl by approaching and contacting her and requesting that she tell him her name and address.
It’s claimed that he activated his lights and sounded his horn, and waved at her from his van.
On Thursday, at Dundee Sheriff Court, Bruce’s defence solicitor submitted that there was “no charge to answer” and the sheriff acquitted Bruce, of Palais Court, Dundee.
