William Bain preyed on pupils at another private school where the 62-year-old worked at the time. A judge heard how one boy was attacked after going to Bain for help because he was being bullied. Bain later went on to secure a post at £22,000-a-year Glenalmond College in Perth and Kinross. But, he was finally snared last year when one sickened victim discovered he was still teaching and called police. It sparked a large-scale probe into the abuse claims resulting in shamed Bain ending up at the High Court in Glasgow. Bain – who lives with his mum in Crieff, Perthshire – had his bail continued pending sentencing next month. He was a teacher at the time at a fee-paying school in Dunbartonshire.
