A violent vandal whose temper tantrum led to him smashing a window has pleaded guilty to causing more than £300 worth of damage.
Prisoner Brian Edwards, 29, was taken to Dundee Police HQ after lashing out in Dundee Sheriff Court in September last year.
While at court, Edwards became incensed and smashed a glass partition, causing £344 worth of damage.
The 29-year-old was then transferred to West Bell Street Police Station, where he proceeded to throw a cup of tea over two police officers and a G4S security guard.
During the hearing, Dundee Sheriff Court was told that Edwards had a long record of offences and had struggled with anger issue problems in the past.
The court was also told that on the day in question he had become aggressive after being unable to obtain medication.
As a result of his guilty plea, Edwards was sentenced to a further 27 weeks in prison.
