A Fife businessman who admitted hounding a woman will return to court next year for sentencing.
James Bell, 37, who runs a construction firm in Leven, pled guilty to repeatedly contacting the woman through electronic messages, including sending her a message containing aggressive language.
He also sent her a greetings card and turned up to her work, her home and her father’s home, all while he knew the attention was unwanted.
The offences happened at various locations in Kirkcaldy between January 30 and February 2 this year.
Bell, of Millie Street, Kirkcaldy, pled guilty to causing the woman fear and alarm when the case previously called in court on August 12.
The matter called at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court’s new annexe for sentencing on Wednesday when sentence was deferred until February 24 next year.
