A 59-year-old Fife man who assaulted one police officer and racially abused another has been jailed.
The incidents took place in Lochgelly and at Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy.
Kevin O’Hare, of Ivanhoe Drive, Glenrothes, appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that on September 18 at Grainger Street, Lochgelly, he assaulted a police constable by striking her on the body and throwing a bottle of water at her.
He also admitted that on the same day at Victoria Hospital he acted in a racially aggravated manner towards another police officer.
Sheriff James MacDonald jailed O’Hare for 135 days.
