Two men have appeared in court charged with attempted murder in connection with an incident in a Fife town on Saturday.
Both men appeared at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court yesterday (Thursday) after police charged them in connection with an alleged serious assault in the Woodside area of Cowdenbeath in the early hours of Saturday, October 24.
Liam Kinch, 25, from Dunfermline, was charged with assault to severe injury, danger of life and attempted murder.
He made no plea and was remanded in custody to appear again within eight days.
Russell Bryson, 30, from Cowdenbeath, was also charged with assault to severe injury, danger of life and attempted murder and released on bail pending a further appearance, the date of which is yet to be confirmed.
The pair were arrested in connection with the alleged incident after officers from Fife CID attended a property in Ballingry in Fife on Wednesday.
