A Perth man has been fined more than £600 after twice failing to attend scheduled hearings at the sheriff court.
James Scott, 33, Princess Street, admitted failing to turn up at the court as requested when he appeared in the dock on Monday.
Scott admitted that, having been granted bail on June 24 2015 at Perth Sheriff Court on the understanding that he would appear on November 26, he failed to do so.
He also admitted failing to appear on March 3, having been granted bail on December 7.
Sheriff William Wood, who noted that Scott had been admonished on similar charges in the past, fined him £610.
