A man has appeared in court in connection with a robbery at a Fife house two-and-a-half years ago.
Police confirmed on Friday that a man had been arrested over the incident on Lundin Road in Crossford on May 4. 2018, when a 76-year-old woman was robbed in her home.
Garry Roughley, 39, of no fixed abode, appeared at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court where he faced six charges.
He is charged with theft of a motor vehicle, assault and robbery, malicious mischief, theft by opening a lockfast place (ATM), attempted theft by opening a lockfast place (ATM) and a charge under the Vehicle Excise and Registration Act 1994.
He made no plea and was remanded in custody, pending a further appearance within the next eight days.
