A Perth man who subjected a woman to a tirade of verbal abuse has been warned he must change his ways or risk further punishment.
Paul Lappin, 29, who is currently serving a six month prison sentence, admitted repeatedly shouting and swearing on July 31 last year at St Catherine’s Road, Perth.
Fiscal depute Robbie Brown said the female victim “received a tirade of abuse that went on for some time,” adding, “She was extremely distressed by what occurred.”
Sheriff Valerie Johnston said: “You have been drinking and causing bother for a long time. It will not be easy to stop it. It’s your choice.”
Sentence was deferred for six months for good behaviour.
