A heroin addict, who drove a car while on drugs with a three-year-old boy in the back, was later found slumped behind the wheel with the child still in the vehicle.
When Dawn Smith was taken to hospital she was found to have heroin concealed in a Kinder egg placed inside her body.
Smith, 29, admitted driving without a valid licence, driving while unfit to do so though drugs, neglecting the child by being in an unfit condition through drugs and being in possession of heroin at hospital.
Her partner Ian Gallacher brandished a bottle at passers-by who were concerned at finding them in the car unconscious.
They were both found slumped in the car which was parked on a driveway at Hill Road, Ballingry, on April 11.
The couple, of Balquhatstone Crescent, Falkirk, both admitted a charge of wilful neglect of the boy and exposing him in a manner likely to cause unnecessary suffering or injury and neglect by not being in a position to care for him properly whilst being unfit through drugs.
Gallacher, 28, previously admitted he behaved in a threatening or abusive manner by shouting, swearing, acting in aggressive manner and brandishing a glass bottle.
He also admitted giving a false name to police officers.
Smith was put on a restriction of liberty order for six months and was disqualified from driving for a year. Sentence was deferred on Gallacher until June.
