A pervert who superimposed his own face onto sick child sex abuse pictures has been jailed.
E-crime officers discovered hundreds of indecent images and videos after raiding James Boyack’s homes in Dundee’s Clepington Road and then Bannockburn Road in Stirling.
They included horrific bestiality images showing women having sex with dogs, horses and octopi.
Further sickening images showing children being sexually abused were found, including pictures where Boyack had digitally added his face over the top of the men seen in the images.
The offences come 18 years after he Boyack – who has described himself as “a monster” – was convicted of almost identical crimes.
At Dundee Sheriff Court, the 70-year-old, now of Inverness, pled guilty on indictment to charges under the Sexual Offences (Scotland) Act, which included downloading indecent images and extreme pornographic images between December 2012 and June 2015.
The court was told that the internet search history of his laptop was consistent with his having “actively searched for indecent images of children”
He accepted that his behaviour unnaceptable and made a plea for help.
Sheriff Lorna Drummond QC jailed Boyack for 12 months and imposed a two-year extended sentence, meaning he will be monitored in the community upon his release.
He was placed on the sex offenders register for ten years.
In 1998, Boyack received a two-and-a-half year jail term for abusing a three-year-old girl and taking videos of unsuspecting children, which he then turned into “vile and disgusting” pornographic images.
