An Alloa man has admitted assaulting four people by spraying a fire extinguisher towards their faces at Perth railway station.
Neal Mackay boarded an unoccupied ScotRail train on July 31 last year and began spraying the extinguisher over the controls in the driver’s cabin, and throughout the carriage, before using it to smash windows.
He then assaulted Stuart Duncan, Neil Thomson and Constables Matthew Henry and Gavin Burns by targeting their faces with the spray.
At Perth Sheriff Court, the 25-year-old admitted the charges when he appeared before Sheriff Lindsay Foulis.
Sentence on Mackay, of Anne Street, Alloa, was deferred until August for reports.
