A man posted more than 40 photographs of a woman on a pornographic website, a court was told on Monday.
Perth Sheriff Court heard many of the images uploaded by Raymond Wishart, 52, were sexually explicit.
Depute Fiscal Stuart Richardson said the married father-of-two, of King’s Road, Coupar Angus, had a bouquet of flowers delivered to the woman’s workplace then posted a total of 45 photographs of her.
“On July 2, 2015, a male work colleague was browsing the internet in the evening and looked at a website that had pornographic images and the woman’s name was mentioned,” Mr Richardson said.
“He told a supervisor at work the following day and it was discussed with the woman who then notified police. She discovered the pictures had also been picked up by other pornographic websites.”
The court heard that 27 images were posted on the pornographic website, with 10 of these showing the woman in sexual activity.
Mr Richardson added that a “second gallery” of photographs containing 18 pictures were also posted on the same website, with three of these being sexually explicit.
Solicitor Rosie Scott, defending, said her client “regretted” posting the photographs, which he claimed the woman had sent him.
Wishart admitted that between June 19 and July 3, last year, at King’s Road, Coupar Angus, he had sent sexually explicit images of a woman to various pornographic websites.
Sentence was deferred until August 31 for background reports and Wishart was placed on the sex offenders’ register.
