A pensioner is facing jail after being convicted of carrying out historic sex attacks on children.
Kieran Hosty, 72, was found guilty by a jury of using lewd, indecent and libidinous practices towards tow children between 2001 and 2006 at an address in Anstruther, Fife.
On various occasions between February 2001 and March 2005, Hosty stroked one child’s foot before inducing them to touch his privates before touching the child indecently.

Hosty again stroked the leg of the same child before inducing the youngster to touch his privates between April 2005 and April 2006. He thereafter touched the child indecently.
A second child was abused by Hosty, of New Brancpeth, Durham, between September 2001 and April 2006.
Hosty touched the child indecently and undressed in the youngster’s presence before exposing himself to them.
He induced the child to touch him before performing a sex act in front of them.
Following his trial at Dundee Sheriff Court, jurors found Hosty guilty of all three charges.
Defence counsel Tim Niven-Smith said he appreciated the jury’s verdict amounted to a “gross breach of trust.”
Sheriff Alastair Carmichael deferred sentence on Hosty until next month for reports. His bail order was allowed to continue.
