A driver has been fined after speeding on a main Dundee route.
Lee Devine, 36, of Cleghorn Wynd in Arbroath, admitted that on October 11 last year, on the A92 Dundee to Arbroath road, near East Balgillo Road, he drove a motor vehicle at a speed of 54.49mph, when the limit was 40mph.
Devine was fined £175, discounted from £200 because of his early guilty plea. His licence was also endorsed with three penalty points, discounted from four.
