A Dundee woman who had been drinking crashed into two vehicles after getting behind the wheel.
Susan Bateman, 48, of Gardner Street, admitted driving while over the limit on November 20 after her mother called her to say she had fallen.
Bateman pulled out of the junction of Kilberry Street and Campbell Street without giving way to oncoming traffic, colliding first with a van and then with a car whose driver had taken evasive action.
The court heard that Bateman then left the scene without stopping, and the drivers of the vehicles called police.
She was later traced, and breathalysed, which showed she was above the drink-drive limit, with 85mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath.
Bateman was fined £900 at Dundee Sheriff Court and disqualified from driving for 14 months.
