A paedophile who threatened to “melt the face off” his teenage victim is back behind bars after breaching a strict non-harassment order.
Brandon Williamson was locked up in 2019 after he admitted sexual activity with under-age girls in Perth and Inchture.
He was sentenced to another eight months detention last year after sending a sickening letter to the mother of one of his victims.
The 21-year-old bragged that he would jump on the girl’s head when he was freed.
Now the young thug has been locked up for another 10 months, after he broke the terms of a banning order put in place to protect his victim and her family – just three days after he was released from jail.
Snapchat messages
Perth Sheriff Court heard he was caught out when he sent a series of vile Snapchat messages to the girl’s friend.
Williamson appeared via videolink from Perth Prison and admitted breaching the order on March 20, by contacting his victim by indirect means.
The charge states that unsolicited messages he sent on social media were derogatory and contained threats against the youngster.
Sheriff Linda Smith told Williamson: “You have an appalling list of previous convictions for a man of your age.”
He was jailed for 10 months.
Three days out of jail
Fiscal depute Marie Lyons told the court: “At the time of this offence he was residing at a Salvation Army homeless hostel in Perth, having just been released on licence from prison.
“The accused and the complainer were in a relationship for approximately one year in 2018. At this time, the complainer was about 13 or 14 years of age.
“The accused was subsequently convicted of sexual offences and violent assaults against her.
“He served time in prison for these offences. Whilst in prison, he sent a letter to the complainer’s mother, making threats to the complainer. As a result he was sentenced to an extra eight months.”
She said: “The accused was released from prison on March 17. The complainer has a non-harassment order against the accused, which will be in place for five years.
“It states that he cannot approach, contact, or attempt to approach or contact her in any way.”
Mrs Lyons told the court: “At about 10.30am, a friend of the complainer received messages from a Snapchat account which she recognised as the accused’s.”
Williamson wrote that he would “literally” ruin his victim’s life and told the friend to “show your wee pal this.”
He sent a photo of his face with the letters “STD” scrawled across it.
The pal told him: “Stop speaking about her, it’s not fair.”
Williamson responded: “Two years is a long time away from my family. Is that fair?”
The friend said: “You are literally speaking to one of her good pals, I don’t want to hear about it. You’re the one who sh****d a 13-year-old.”
Mrs Lyons said: “The witness took images of the messages using another phone and sent these to her friend.
“Following this, police were informed.”
Williamson was arrested days later.
A ‘confused young man’
Solicitor Paul Ralph said: “There were a number of onerous conditions placed on Mr Williamson.
“He came out of prison a confused young man. That’s not to excuse the behaviour, but it maybe explains what was going on in his head.”
He said his client, who was allowed a mobile phone, activated his old Snapchat account and found the girl’s friend amongst his contacts.
“This was not direct contact, but it was reckless,” said Mr Ralph.
‘I kicked her in the ribs’
Williamson was locked up for 31 months for his initial offence, which involved him engaging in sexual activity with two 13-year-old girls while he was aged 18 and 19.
However, within weeks he had started penning the sickening letter which he addressed and then posted to his victim’s mother.
Across the six handwritten pages, he gloated about the violence he inflicted on the girl.
“I’ll get out and melt the face right off you,” he wrote.
“F*** you, stupid cow. It was great fun punching (your daughter) about.
“She tried to beg me to stop, so I kicked her in the ribs. If she thinks I’ll leave her alone she’s wrong. I’m jumping all over her head every time I see her.”
Williamson, who was earlier described as at a “very high risk of re-offending”, was placed on the Sex Offender’s Register indefinitely.
