A Dundee man raided an Ann Summers store and made off with a haul of candles and sex toys shortly after stealing underwear from another shop.
Terence Cox first stole underwear from a Primark store in Dundee’s Overgate.
He then nipped round the corner to the Ann Summers adult outlet in the city’s Reform Street where he stole what was described in court as a “quantity of candles and sex aids”.
Dundee Sheriff Court heard Cox was on bail on May 18 when he committed his crimes.
Cox, 63, of Kinloch Street, pleaded guilty on summary complaint to two charges of theft.
His co-accused, Pauline Tierney, 42, of Leith Walk, Dundee, had her not guilty pleas to the same charges accepted by the Crown.
Defence solicitor John Boyle said: “He is currently on a community payback order for another offence and is making good progress.”
Sheriff Tom Hughes deferred sentence on Cox for six months for him to be of good behaviour.
