Police have charged several people after carrying out multiple drug raids at homes across Tayside.
The Courier revealed officers had descended on Dundee’s Adamson Court on Thursday and searched a number of properties.
Police have now revealed two men, aged 45 and 43 and a woman aged 34 have been charged after officers discovered drugs including heroin and cannabis.
In Letham, Perth, two addresses were searched and a 25-year-old man and 24-year-old woman were charged with drugs offences after heroin and cannabis were recovered at an address in Fortingall Place.
On Tuesday a 50-year-old man was charged after heroin was recovered from an address in Dundee’s Americanmuir Road.
A 30-year-old woman was also charged with drugs offences after heroin was recovered from an address in Dee Gardens. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
In addition to this, heroin, cannabis and cocaine with an estimated illicit street value of over £26,000 was recovered at an address on Dundee’s Douglas Road on Wednesday August 17.
A 36-year-old man was charged in connection with the incident and was kept in custody to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court.

“We are focused on disrupting criminality and reducing harm in Tayside and we will continue to act on information you provide, to carry out searches under warrant to take drugs out of our communities.
