A gay binman filmed himself carrying out horrific sex assaults on two straight men.
John Worsley from Dundee admitted plying his victims with drink until they were unconscious after they came to him for relationship advice, before going on to sexually assault them.
The 44-year-old is now facing a lengthy jail term over the two separate attacks carried out at his flat.
Dundee Sheriff Court heard one of the men was unaware he had been sexually assaulted until a police investigation into the second offence uncovered graphic footage on Worsley’s mobile.
The refuse collector tried to claim the incidents were “consensual” and said he “couldn’t be held responsible for his actions” because he was drunk.
Worsley is now behind bars awaiting sentence after he was remanded following a hearing on Wednesday.
Horrified relatives of the sex attacker stormed out of court as depute fiscal Eilidh Robertson read a narrative of the assaults.
She said: “The first victim was 25 at the time.
“They got in contact after the complainer broke up with his partner, and the accused contacted him via Facebook suggesting they meet up.
“During a subsequent meeting the offence took place.
“It came to light as a result of the accused’s phone being taken by police and interrogated in respect of the second charge.
“The accused said he knew the complainer was going through a hard time and invited him for a drink at his flat.
“The accused told the complainer he was gay and they both became intoxicated and carried out a consensual sex act together.
“The complainer then said he was heterosexual and not to expect sexual activity on further visits.”
Further footage recovered at a later date showed the first victim asleep with his lower clothing removed.
Worsley filmed himself a carrying out sex acts on the visitor.
“When the complainer was spoken to he confirmed he did not recall the incident and would definitely not have consented to the accused’s actions while sleeping,” Ms Roberston added.
Turning to the second assault, the fiscal said the victim had also been contacted by Worsley via Facebook.
She said: “He arrived and they began drinking, the complainer describing himself later as ‘absolutely wasted’.
“His next memory is of the accused pulling him out of the living room and banging his head off the door as his feet were being dragged.
“He heard the accused say ‘I’ll put you to bed’.”
After being sexually assaulted the second victim “ran to the bathroom and vomited” the court heard.
Ms Robertson said he then left the flat and later called police, saying Worsley had tried to rape him.
Officers attended and semen was found on the victim’s backside.
Footage of the assaults was found copied to a private folder on Worsley’s phone.
Worsley, of Pitkerro Road, Dundee, admitted to two charges of sexual assault committed in August last year at an flat in the city’s Baffin Street.
Sheriff Alastair Carmichael deferred sentence until next month for social work background reports.
Worsley was placed on the sex offenders register.
