Elizabeth Bowe, 50, was found at a flat in Bobby Jones Place around 9pm on Saturday September 17. She was taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee where died around midday on Tuesday September 20. On Tuesday her brother, Charles Gordon, appeared from custody at Dundee Sheriff Court facing a single charge of murder. He made no plea or declaration during the brief private hearing and his case was continued for further examination. No application for bail was made and Gordon was remanded in custody ahead of a further hearing next week.
