A Dundee woman has been banned from entering Kirriemuir after sending a series of abusive messages to her ex-boyfriend.
Holly Wilson admitted sending a string of offensive texts to her former partner after they split up in February.
She threatened to get her “fam” to have a word with him, as well as calling him a “slut” and “dirty man whore”.
Wilson, 19, appeared at Dundee Sheriff Court and pled guilty to the charge.
Abuse begins
The court heard Wilson and her partner had been in a relationship for around two months.
“On February 5 the complainer ended the relationship,” the depute fiscal said.
“On February 10, he received a message from the accused commenting he had ‘liked’ another girl’s Instagram photo.
“On February 11, he received a follow-up.”
That message read: “You are a freak for liking her picture. She is a slut and a freak and so are you man.
“How desperate are you? You small-d***ed freak I swear to God, if I see your f***ing face man you’re getting done.
“You dirty man-whore.”
Messages continue
The fiscal said a further messages arrived on February 13, reading: “You slept with her, haha, you are f***ing gold.
“You better watch your back mate, blocking me (on social media) too, you just slept with my meant to be best mate, you are so done mate, good luck you are going to need it.
“Just wait until I see your ugly puss, you are getting spat on.
“Funnily enough I could have sh***ed any of your pals.”
It continued: “Everyone is speaking about you and honestly if you do anything like that again my fam will be having a word with you.”
The fiscal said: “Police were contacted on February 15.
“The accused commented, while not under caution, ‘is this about those stupid messages? I wish I never sent them’.
“The witness said he felt stressed and worried what the accused would do and supports a non-harassment order.”
The charges
Wilson, of Pitfour Street, pled guilty to using a public communications network to send messages to her former partner, repeatedly swearing at him and threatening him with violence between February 10 and February 13, both dates inclusive.
This was aggravated by involving abuse of an ex-partner, contrary to the Abusive Behaviour and Sexual Harm Act.
Deferring sentence until April for criminal justice and social work reports and a restriction of liberty order, Sheriff John Rafferty placed her on special bail conditions not to enter the Angus town of Kirriemuir.
