Four people are to stand trial accused of breaking into a Dundee woman’s house and abducting her.
Roseann Browne, Stacey Duff, Kyran Henderson and Lee Robertson are alleged to have gone to Rhea Foreman’s address on July 29 this year.
There they are said to have repeatedly kicked and struck the door and shouted and swore before forcing entry, assaulting and abducting Miss Foreman.
The four are alleged to have grabbed her and shoved her against a wall before seizing her mobile phone and attempting to destroy it.
Prosecutors say they searched her house before repeatedly striking her and punching her then “forcibly removed her from the house”.
The quarter allegedly forced her into a car and “detained her against her will” and prevented her seeking help.
Miss Foreman is said to have been injured during the incident in Dundee’s Atholl Street.
Browne, 41, of Nisbet Court, Edinburgh, Duff, 30, of Cairn Street, Kirkcaldy, Henderson, 25, of HMP Perth and Robertson, 40, of Kirkburn Drive, Cardenden, Fife, all deny a charge on indictment of assault and abduction.
Sheriff Alastair Carmichael set a trial date later this month at Dundee Sheriff Court.
