A man is facing court accused of “behaving in a threatening or abusive manner” by filming police officers in Dundee and Aberdeen.
Barry Nixon faces a string of charges including three of “behaving in a threatening or abusive manner likely to cause a reasonable person to suffer fear or alarm” involving filming and photographing police officers.
The 39-year-old, who denies all the charges against him, is alleged to have committed offences near Baluniefield police station in Dundee and at Nelson Street police station, Queen Street station and near Nigg police office in Aberdeen.
On December 5 2020 Nixon is alleged to have filmed secure entry and exit points at Baluniefield from Balmoral Avenue, filmed uniformed police officers and failed to desist when instructed to do so.
