A Dundee woman has admitted supplying cocaine after police raided her home, finding £13,000 worth of illicit drugs.
Louise Johnstone, 39, pled guilty at Dundee Sheriff Court to being concerned in the supply of the controlled drug.
After police stopped her car close to her home on Sandeman Street, she told them they would find “crack” if they looked in her house.
Depute fiscal Stewart Duncan told the court: “The accused is 39-years-old, she lives at an address on Sandeman Street, Dundee.
“She appeared on petition in March 2021 in connection with this matter.
“Intelligence received by police showed the accused to be concerned in the supply of controlled drugs.
“On March 10 officers stopped her car and she was taken into custody.
“She said ‘you will find crack’ if her home was searched.
“A mobile phone and £85 were found in the vehicle.
“Her home address was searched.
“Wraps containing a white powder were discovered.
“These were found to contain cocaine.
“A pair of scales with traces of cocaine were also found.
“The mobile phone had evidence of her being in the supply of drugs.”
Defence solicitor Anika Jethwa asked for Sheriff Alistair Carmichael to call for reports, which he did.
Johnstone will return for sentencing on August 15.
