Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court heard Caldwell shouted and swore at the man and threatened to burn his passport on one occasion and attempted to set an air freshener on fire on another.
Procurator fiscal depute Laurelle Johnstone said in another incident, Caldwell attempted to set fire to the duvet.
The fiscal depute said the man had recorded these incidents on his mobile phone.
Ms Johnstone said that in May 2020, he changed his phone number to try and stop her calling but she found the new number and made in excess of 70 calls to him.
