A man walked through a Dundee retail park with his genitals “hanging out” before pleasuring himself in front of concerned shoppers.
Michal Bajek appeared at Dundee Sheriff Court to admit engaging in sexual activity twice on September 13 last year.
Before horrifying customers outside The Range at The Stack Leisure Park in Lochee, Bajek wandered along Coupar Angus Road “fiddling” with his exposed penis.
Fiscal depute Laura Hogg explained that at 5.45pm, he had walked past a woman while he was exposed.
She said: “A witness walking her dog became aware of a male walking towards her with his hands around his crotch area.
“She noticed that his penis was exposed.
“The accused walked past.”
She turned and saw him fiddling with himself, using both hands.
He walked off and she called police.
Witness took photo of offending
Around 15 minutes later, Bajek arrived at The Stack and was still exposing himself.
Ms Hogg said: “Witnesses were standing outside The Range when the accused walked past them.
“The accused’s penis was hanging out.
“The accused made eye-contact with one witness and sniggered.
“The accused walked away.
“He stopped after 50 yards, turned around, then grabbed his penis and began to masturbate.
“The accused walked off and a witness took a photograph of him.
“Police were contacted and traced the accused at his home address.”
Sex Offenders Register
Bajek, who is banned from Dundee as part of his bail conditions and is currently living in Blairgowrie, admitted two charges of engaging in sexual conduct in the presence of others.
Seven years ago, Bajek admitted exposing himself in Dundee city centre in the early hours of the morning.
Solicitor Ross Donnelly explained alcohol was a significant factor in Bajek’s offending.
He said: “He understands reports will be required and he’ll be placed on the Sex Offenders Register.
“There is a background, obviously.
“I understand he can explain steps he’s taken since this incident.”
Sheriff Derek Reekie released Bajek on bail for reports and made him subject of registration requirements.
Bajek is due back in court on August 30.
Previous offence
In March 2015, Bajek was convicted of a similar a offence when he strolled through Dundee City Centre between 3.30 and 4am, while masturbating.
Bajek exposed himself in Dundee’s West Marketgait – metres from pubs, nightclubs, shops and the city’s police headquarters, before walking towards a nearby pub while pleasuring himself.
He walked past two women and turned back to leer at them while continuing his solo sex act.
He was caught when police CCTV operators spotted him.
Officers traced and he was still exposed.
His solicitor on occasion said he remembers nothing because he was drunk.
