A Fife hairdresser has been convicted of sexually assaulting a woman in his Methil salon.
Nuran Serkizyan was found guilty of the attack on March 21 this year.
The 50-year-old was found to have touched and rubbed the woman, who cannot be named for legal reasons, on the shoulders and above her breasts.
Sheriff Elizabeth McFarlane also ruled Serkizyan, of Wellesley Road, attempted to kiss the woman at NS Hair Salon and then did kiss her, as well as placing his hand down her back.
Sheriff McFarlane deferred sentence until August 31.

Attacked Asda
An “attention seeker” who sparked a major manhunt with a hoax 999 call has admitted attacking a Perth supermarket with a bin.
Kyle Wilkie appeared at the city’s sheriff court and pled guilty to a charge of malicious damage.
The 22-year-old repeatedly struck a window at a glass door at Asda and neighbour Timpsons, on Dunkeld Road, with the bin, causing damage, on October 30, 2021.
Wilkie, of Faires Road, Perth, also admitted assaulting a woman at the Broxden Park and Ride site on January 25.
Sheriff William Wood deferred sentence until August 17.
In February, Wilkie – a first offender – was placed on a structured deferred sentence after he admitted phoning 999 operators and claiming to have a knife.
“Police and others will be attacked,” he told them.
The call lead to multiple units being dispatched to search for the suspect. He was later found walking the streets without a weapon.

Title party bottle thrower
A Rosyth dock worker threw a bottle at police during Rangers’ title celebrations in George Square, Glasgow on May 15, 2021.
Graeme Conners, 38, claimed he committed the crime to bring attention to a woman he believed was being manhandled by officers.
Glasgow Sheriff Court was told supporters and members of the public caused “large-scale acts of violence directed towards police.”
CCTV footage was later reviewed as part of a police enquiry.
Prosecutor Carrie Stevens said: “Conners is seen throwing one bottle toward officers before he is removed from the plinth of a statue by the use of a shield.
“He is seen to fall over and is thereafter lost from view.”
Conners – a first offender of Kincardine – later handed himself into police and pled guilty to culpable and reckless conduct.
Garvey McCardle, defending, told the court: “He was not standing on a plinth when he threw the bottle.
“He saw a woman being removed…he was gesturing to a photo journalist and the woman received press coverage after she was put to the ground.
“He saw it happening and threw the bottle of Coke, which went over the police line to remonstrate with those responsible for they did to the woman, then tried to involve the journalist.”
Sentence was deferred pending background reports until the end of the month.
Conners was granted bail.
