A man and woman have appeared in court on drugs charges after a car was stopped on the A92 in Fife. Michelle Cord, 42, of Kirkcaldy, and James Murray, 38, of Clackmannanshire, appeared in Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court in private on petition on Friday. They made no plea or declaration and were committed for further examination. Cord was released on bail but Murray was remanded in custody. The pair were arrested and charged after Police Scotland stopped a car on the dual carriageway near Cowdenbeath. Police cars surrounded the vehicle in the outside lane on Thursday afternoon, causing an obstruction for traffic.
