Alistair Walton, of the town, faces charges of assault and robbery. He appeared at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court in private on petition on Friday. He made no plea or declaration and was committed for further examination. Walton was remanded in custody. The incident occurred on Tuesday February 14 at Coral bookmaker in Dunearn Drive in the Templehall area.
