A Dundee clubber threatened to attack police “after they were off-duty” in a drunken tirade outside a popular nightclub.
Connor Ross, 27, had been thrown out by bouncers of Underground on South Tay Street when police on patrol stepped in to help.
They told him to leave the area but he would not desist, resulting in his arrest.
He admitted behaving in a threatening and abusive manner towards police when he appeared at Dundee Sheriff Court.
Unemployed Ross also admitted behaving in a threatening manner towards an ex-partner in a different incident.
He called her a “fat mink”, threatened to “smash every window” in her house and said he was “going to kill” her.
Police abuse
Depute fiscal Laura Hogg told the court: “For charge one, the incident took place at 2.40am on South Tay Street.
“Police were on mobile patrol.
“Staff at Underground were ejecting the accused from the building.
“Police initially told him to move on. He refused.
“He started shouting ‘fat mongol’ and ‘fat c**t’ at the officers.
“He also threatened: ‘If I see you off-duty, you’ll be begging me to stop’.
“He was arrested, cautioned and charged and made no reply.
“He was placed in the back of a police vehicle.
“He made further remarks claiming he would ‘see them off duty’ and that he ‘remembers a face’.
“He was kept in custody until he sobered up and was released.”
Abusive messages to woman
The fiscal turned to the second complaint in which he sent messages to his victim.
They read: “Watch what’s away to happen.
“I will go to your house you trouble making wee slag.
“Get off the wine you fat c**t.
“I’ll blow your gran and pals motor off the Earth.”
Defence solicitor Carolyn Leckie told the court: “He lives with his mother.
“He has been diagnosed with ADHD.
“He does hope to work off-shore in future.”
Ross, of Staffa Place, admitted two counts of threatening and abusive behaviour on July 31 and September 24 to 25 this year.
Sheriff George Way deferred sentence for reports until March 10.
